Our Lab current research goal
Our lab is focused on pioneering research into cardiac regeneration, supported by multiple NIH R01 projects. The primary aim is to decode the intricate molecular crosstalk between cardiac cells during zebrafish heart regeneration. By leveraging the zebrafish model, we seek to unravel key signaling pathways and mechanisms that drive effective tissue repair. I am working on decoding the immune cells , macrophage role in cardiac regenrtaion. Our ultimate goal is to translate these findings into therapeutic strategies for promoting heart regeneration in humans, offering innovative solutions for cardiac disease treatment.
